An introduction to me....Hello!

I am told I am whimsical...at the time I disagreed and then I asked my friend Mr Google and he conferred and I am...I am also a retired civil servant who lives an idylic life in Sunny Thailand. I write, blog, cook many recipes which I gather from friends new and old...some who are just passing through and others who stay awhile but all authentic recipes from around the globe. I hope you will enjoy my recipes and my travels around Thailand and neigbouring countries...I am having a wonderful ride and I don't want to get off! Hence the title of my blog " Retired who me!"

Not where I am we have had hardly any rain or storms..I know Phuket has had bad weather and so has the south but we haven't had any rain of any significance for a couple of months. Thank you for the welcome to the site. Where in Thailand is your daughter?

Hello, welcome to myLot. What part of Thailand? And a retired civil servant from the US or where?
I knew a Thai woman and I certainly enjoyed her cooking. I would enjoy your recipes but read the guidelines. I don't think we can post recipes here. For sure we can't Just post a recipe as that is not a discussion.

@paigea ...Ha ha I thought I was retiring but nothing is further from the truth...hence the title of my blog " Retired Who Me" because I have started writing, making jewelery, exploring and just living...I am so lucky I have to pinch myself on occassions...where do you live?

Thank you and Hi...I do of course but don't think we can add recipes here but we can discuss food...I think....Like what do you think is the best yeast to use or something....I am new to all of this so any advice would be great..

Where are you from originally and did you meet another member here to know to come and check it out? Welcome to mylot. I collect recipes too but mainly only share ones I'm making for supper so I can include pictures.
