Have you ever missed a flight?

This never happened to me, because whenever I have a flight I try to arrive a few hours before the check-in. I'd rather be waiting inside the airport than run the risk of being late and missing the flight.
By the way, I've seen - at the airport - several people losing their flights, and the feeling is pretty bad.

@TheInvisibleMan Nah I haven't. Even though when I'm on the plane I wish I did miss it lol I hate flying very much!

@VivaLaDani13 There is this movie. Very funny! The female lead has never in her life missed a train and she doesn't plan to in future either. Something about good luck or something. One day she is running away from home and misses her train and then one after the other, things start to go wrong.

When my son was coming home from visiting his girlfriend in Austria last year, he overslept and missed his flight. He wound up staying an extra day in Vienna (not that he minded, he loves Vienna) and had to buy a one-way ticket to the States for a flight the next day. That he minded. It was a very expensive mistake.

We missed a flight once but only because our previous flight was late getting in.

Thank heavens when I flew I never missed my flight and even if had to go from one plane to the next. Glad it never happened to you.

I am lucky enough I guess to be able to say that I'm always there with loads of time to spare. Connecting flights do kind of make me nervous!!

@theinvisibleman I'm normally well on time because an air ticket is far too expensive to make a mess of. I missed one flight. I had to leave the house at 5 am to get it but didn't wake till 6 pm and just thought did this and went back to sleep.
