PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa should resign?

A couple of days ago, I watched a Youtube Video from an ABS-CBN news featuring this story and read through the comments. I must say that I am disappointed by the level of thinking of my fellow countrymen. I'm not saying that everyone is stupid. I meant the people who couldn't see past what our newscasters are casting upon the current issue. In my perspective, it's stupid for people to ask PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa to resign. Why? Simple. It's because you are playing right into the hands of the enemies. By enemies, I mean the people who wants to oust Pres. Duterte and his administration. They use these little indirect attacks to put distrust between the people and the government. Slowly but surely. And as an end result re-instate the era of permissiveness on drugs and crimes back into our streets. The writer of this post has a suspicion that this is just one of the many conditions that the enemies would need to achieve to get back their hold and power over the nation of Philippines. But this condition is also a very important one. Why ever do you think that they are focusing their attacks on our police ranks? Again it's simple. Because the police is right under the executive branch of the government. When something happens there, people will immediately think it's the PNP's fault. And, being the person who appointed the PNP, it's the President's fault as well. When people loose their trust on the current government, what do you think this would lead to? Another People Power Revolution, right? And this time lead by "heroes" and "saints" appointed by the oligarchs. Them or the people who wants to put out nation into ruin. When Pres. Duterte had appointed PNP Cheif Bato Dela Rosa into the position, he had maintained a semblance of control over the whole police units. And there are many issues that arose around that event. Because the president appointed someone he trusted to be loyal to the people and get the job done. Not one of our many generals as we saw previous presidents do. But during that time and even as we speak, there are still people in the PNP organization that lacks the proper discipline to be a good policeman. These people, we call "tiwali". Tiwali, in tagalog, means abnormal; absurd; anomalous; incorrect; inverted, according to Google. One just cannot change those who are already "tiwali" in the first place. When PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa went into the position, it was only a matter of time for these tiwaling policemen to pop up. The writer is quite surprised that they lasted this long. Because these people can't behave for a long period of time. Simply because their actions are acquired habits that are honed for years. And the reason for this phenomenon is because of the years of permissiveness in our government before Pres. Duterte came into power. They've been in the practice for a long period of time and therefore, when the time to behave started, they cannot stop what they usually do at will. While there is nothing that can be done by the current people in power about these tiwaling police's actions, they can however deliver what we call "consequences" and "justice." Or "retribution" if you want. And these good people in the government are the only ones who can do that. So why would you want to play into the hands of the enemies? For this, I have no answer other than innate ignorance, plain denseness or just short of stupidity. Compared to the failure of our previous Chief Justice, this issue is a very small thing in the large scale. So why didn't we ask for Sen. Leila De Lima to resign and perform seppuku for what she did? Since people are asking for PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa to resign because of this prevailing issue. This writer is speaking in the matters of principle. Sen. Leila De Lima had brought shame towards our constitution and the government of the Philippines when she was still Chief Justice because she allowed all those things that had happened in the National Penitentiary. So why pressure PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa with this instead of going after her? Again. This writer is speaking in the matters of the principle. Are people already tired of that issue and are just looking for a new target to practice their stupidity on?

If Gen. Bato is gone, the scalawags and destabilizers will have a heyday. Maybe they want Purisima back LOL!
