Not ready for this

When you know a series finale is coming up and you are just not ready for it. That is what is happening with me with Naruto at the moment. Yeah I know there are little side things going on with this show even after the series finale comes, but still...when this episode comes out, I will be in nothing but tears. I started watching Naruto when I was 11 years old, kind of funny because that was the same age as the main characters of the show 11 and 12. The show came out way before I was 11, I think it came out in 2002 but the dubbed came out in 2005 and I watched it a year later after it came out in dubbed. So it wasn't that far off. I ended up having a teacher that reminded me EXACTLY as one of the characters in the show, and the connection to the show just made it even bigger. Especially when I saw that teacher a few years later and called him Sensei and he remember me in an instant. I watched this show all the time, I was already an anime lover at the time (In the closet though, because I hung out with the "bad kids" and if they knew I was a nerd...they would have beat me up..which happened anyway because dang it, I wanted to wear my Naruto headband to school). The show Naruto gets mocked a lot because of this popularity and such and also the first series is kind of...cringey. But when you are a kid, that is your humour and I loved it and the second series is dark and still has it's "oh god why" moments, but it is something I was able to grow with as a teenager. In the next coming weeks the finale will happen. I already know what is going to happen because I read the manga (comic book) and I was in tears with that. I am now currently rewatching the entirety of the second series so I can be all caught up for the finale. Not ready for this, not ready for this man. I still have a few more weeks but oof. Have you every been so connected with a show that it kind of helped you with your real life?

I had fun watching the Dragon Ball series, but as for connection to real life, I guess never give up was the best thing taught over there.

I haven't watched Dragon Ball but I heard good things. I like to feel a connection to shows haha maybe I'm just weird.

I've never been that connected with a show. I'm sad when series comes to and end, but there's always something to take its place.

I just connect shows with my life like Harry Potter and Naruto were my two things that helped me out so much throughout my childhood.

I am surprised it's ending - I know it was really popular. At least you can watch it over and over --

It is very popular but everything must come to an end, the manga already ended but the creator made a series for their kids and also a new series for a character in the show is coming out soon. So excited.
