This will be a very long day...

. Here I am sitting in the waiting room.. We're the first ones to arrive.. We made sure we arrive here at least an hour before GM's scheduled biopsy procedure. We are hoping that it's only a mild infection and no prostate cancer or anything like that.. We are anxious but as he said, we just have to wait for the result of this biopsy and do whatever is necessary to make life as comfortable as possible.. He will be under anaesthesia for about 6 hours, so I can MyLot while waiting.. Glad I brought this iPad with me and the hospital provides wifi.. otherwise, it will be a very long day.. Bess..

I pray that all goes well. My husband had a 7 hour neck surgery 5 months ago today. My iPad saved me through the unbearable wait.

6 hours seems an awfully long time to be under anaesthetic. I hope the result is favourable, and glad that you have something to occupy you. I think I would have gone somewhere else once they took him off for the procedure, and collected him later.

I've never seen such an elegant waiting room in Germany! I only find chairs, never sofas. Let's hope for the best. The waiting for the result is horrible.

I usually drop Vince off then go back for him. He has two procedures about every two or three years just as a precaution as he has a potential genetic problem. It will certainly be a long day for you. Good luck with the outcome.
