~My Most Annoying Flaw~

We all have flaws, right? Some are worse than others. I have found my most annoying flaw. I am sure it annoys my husband the most since he has to live with me. Lol. When something is bothering me or worrying me or upsetting me I talk about it. Not just one time. Not twice. Usually a few times until I feel better about the situation. I don't know why I do this-it's been something I have done for as long as I can remember actually. I think it helps me to process things by talking about them a few times out loud. My husband often says baby I know, it will be okay. Whatever "it" is. I try really hard not to do that here-I don't want to annoy all of you. I almost did it today and then I realized and decided not to. What is your most annoying flaw?

My most annoying flaw is that I just don't realise how perfect I am! Obviously that's a lie. I fully understand how perfect I am!! A second (and probably totally opposite) opinion is available from my wife!!

You are not alone friend. I too have that behavior sometimes. I keep on talking about things and it makes my children get annoyed. They will tell me, "Mama you have told us about that already". "You've said it many times already." "Yeah we knew about that too."

I think a critical view point would be my worst. Writing about what is bothering you does help. Maybe a journal. It was so cool. I wrote a journal part of the time while my first husband was sick and afterwards. I loved looking back to see where God was holding me up. I think I should do that again.

@GardenGerty Yeah I do have a journal that I write in, it's a prayer journal. And of course I write here and it's cool to look back on older posts here too.

I think being stubborn might be my most annoying flaw. I won't back down. Really made my ex upset with me more times than I can count. We all have them.

It is better to 'voice' your worries, even if you do it more than once, rather than bottle them up and get tense and anxious.

@Judyev Yeah I used to be real quiet and keep everything to myself as a child. I ended up wanting to kill myself and attempted it. I don't keep things inside anymore.

I talk about things that bother me as well many times. I wouldn't call it a flaw, that is just how I am.

Are you saying that I actually have a flaw??? Okay, just kidding. I have a doosey! I worry needlessly and it affects my mood. I have a doctors appointment on Monday and I'm going to be a miserable camper until it's over. Stupid yes I know!

@Hate2iron I also worry way more than necessary-usually about finances or the doctors. I have an appointment on Wednesday and I'm worried sick about it. =( It's not stupid at all, at least not to me since I do the same thing.

I am a worry-wart too. And I basically get the same kind of treatment from my husband. Just wait until the kids grow up, you'll surprisingly enough, get that from them as well-I do! And I have close friends that are the same way.

My father, when I did something wrong would make me tell him over and over again what I had done. Sometimes for up to an hour I would have to retell what I had done wrong. I'm sure there was a method to his madness but back then I hadn't a clue why. It's the only thing about my dad I detested and horror of horror I'm just like that. I remember my kids on many occasions saying mom I have told you 5 times.

oh boy, i have too many flaws that I can't think of just one... :-) I'd say that lately, my flaw is more of a health issue, but i still am struggling to handle it... it's my anxiety attacks. i don't handle them well. and i feel like i take it out of my family.

I am a worrier. I keep things in and don't talk about them and worry about them almost incessantly. I realize that there are things that you can do nothing about, still I worry.
