Some really enjoy music while working online. Sometimes it helps cover other noises that are around us. Music can be soothing, which might help some of us with our thoughts when writing. Those who understand Music Therapy might have a thought or more about which music is best while working online or off.

When working online or offline, I prefer a silent background.

I've read that we should listen to music which matches our mood. I do listen to music when I do my on-line stuff.

That's the power of MUSIC!
Music can actually help us to focus better while using our brain and body, let it be for a creative purpose or organized work. It is said that music can highly affect our mood. It is true to a very great extent that we tend to listen to a song, and we remember the past events that are related to that song. That's the magic of MUSIC.

My daughter is a music major and is practicing some music from different generations so that she can perform for the residents of the nursing home where my mother is a resident. Music has been very therapeutic for people with Alzheimer's and other conditions.

For me it is a MUST. If there is no radio present, I ALWAYS have my phone and headphones. It makes things more interesting. Keeps my mind busy and also makes time go by just a little faster. Plus music puts smiles on my face!!

I find when I am doing computer work online, that music really helps. Music helps you stay motivated, and concentrate on the task at hand. Without music I would find that I lose attention very easily. Typically I will listen to some nice classical music, anything loud and fast distracts me.

Yes, in one of my previous jobs. We always have a background music while working. I also love music that's why I don't mind if I there's a music when I am working, it even helps me to motivate, most of the time.

I like quiet when I am on the computer...my husband is in the next room with the TV, usually blaring to loud and it's annoying We only listen to the radio in the car or when we're in the pool.
