Do you ever feel like you are under surveillance in your own house?

I live with a roommate/boarder, and for the most part he stays to himself actually in his room however, he does come out alot during the day like once a hour to see what I am doing. If he doesn't see me he will sometimes look around. He is almost always here to the point that it is a little creepy. It is OK having him around but not 99 percent of the time!! I never get a break!

We all need some solitude, a little 'me' time. I often feel that I am surveillance by the cat, especially as he spends a lot of time living in the bathroom, but I don't really mind.

Oh yes, the cat always has ears tuned to me, even if he isn;t looking. I think he thinks mommy is a real weirdo!

He may be lonely or a bit insecure and likes knowing you're there.

I haven't lived with a roommate for a very long time. The last one was when I was in college but we really didn't care much about each other's person business.

I wonder if he feels insecure. I would find this a bit creepy too.

It would have been a better situation if he worked a 9 to 5 job outside.

I don't make a point of telling him. Not necessarily if he goes out it is just for an errand.

I live alone so no one can supervise me.
