A Very Good Day

I went to the book signing for a member of my Writer's Guild and it was a good turnout and I learned a few things about a book signing, and how to go about it.
I did buy her book. She read the first chapter, and took questions. She even told us how she started writing at the age of 13.
Afterwards my friend and I went and did a little shopping and went to eat at Perkins. They always have good food and reasonable prices. Then it was time to come home.
I've only been home an hour, but I'm falling asleep on my keyboard, or it feels like it anyway. So as much as I hate to leave you all, and as early as it is, I know I'm going to regret going to bed so early, but it's something I must do. It's too late for a nap, but should it turn out to be a nap, I'll come back for a short while and try to interact some more. But I don't think it's a nap I'll be taking, so I'll see you all tomorrow.
The picture is the book I bought at the book signing called The Countess of Denwick by Nancy Sweetland.
I hope you all had a good day.

I often nap and then come back on here. Sounds like you had a good time at the signing.

@DianneN I will say that as a teacher, you would not like her book. It was traditionally published, but the company did a poor job of it, missing typos and I found her research to be less than what it should be. As a publishing company they should have caught it. I'm only reading it now because I started it.

That's cool, it sounds like a good learning experience and I hope you get your chance to be the one doing a signing soon

I've had a couple, but very few books sold. I found reading does help.

This book signing thing I have never heard of. Anyway since I am not much into reading books I suppose not knowing anything about it is fine (lol)

True, no need to know about it if you don't read.

I love to eat at Perkins too, they do have good food at prices anyone can afford.

I don't know yet. I haven't had a successful one. I keep taking all my books home with me. I'll let you know when I get it figured out.
