Obsessing about being single

My friend she's older in her mid 40s and has 3 kids. Now maybe because I am younger not sure. Inbstead of enjoying life and doing what makes her happy. She puts that all aside and obsessed about being single needing to find a man. I think she's desperate and thinks that will bring her happiness.
But she just jumps in and drops her entire life for it. I texted her yesterday and she never answered me for the entire day. She then texts me today and says she was on a date with this guy. Who this guy said he was dating someone else but wants to try it with her. THAT ALONE IN ITS SELF!
I just sit back and shake my head. She wants to get a house, and do all these things but she thinks finding a man will make her happier.

I have a friend who is just like that. She is terrified of getting old and being alone. That is all she thinks about!!

She goes on date after date but says she can't go out for dinner with me because she has no money. We are suppose to go to this dinner on Saturday next week. She goes I may go, but its because she has this new guy and then obsess over it.

She was telling me about this guy last night she went out once or twice for coffee. Stayed over last night 'cough cough' sleepover and then went home. I go that wont last long if you sleeping with him after meeting him 3 times.

She just wants a man to make her happy. That will not last long. You have to have love to be happy.

Yes, I agree completely. She will date someone a few months then it ends.
