With what do you eat your macaroni ?

I eat mine with a fork. (I couldn't resist the sarcasm) Macaroni and stewed tomatoes are good. Just the noodle, no additives.

The most usual for me is bolognese or barbecue sauce.

I put ketchup on mine

i like to add a wee bit of mayo too.. sometimes i add hamburger and peas.makes a nice meal.

My mother made a terrible macaroni and cheese using evaporated milk and sharp cheddar cheese. It was runny. My dad and my sister and I would add ketchup to it and my mother would get offended. I make mine with milk, salt, flour, mild chedder cheese and american cheese.

Italian here was triggered by discussion and responses! Truth is that I don't eat macaroni. I eat several shapes of pasta, but not that one. And the topping depends on the kind of pasta too. I let you use the mayo, but the ketchup. If I really had to choose a topping for these macaroni, I'd go for tomato sauce/ragu/olive oil. As they have a hole, they're perfect if you want to get the most from a sauce (that goes inside each piece).

My answer would be that I eat macaroni and cheese with a spoon rather than with a fork. And, if you read your question over again you'd see that answer would fit. Generally I'd eat it with cheese and a little bit of milk and possibly a dab of butter of some type. Homemade is the best, but around here we usually use either store brand or Kraft from a box and then we only have to add a bit of milk. My husband east mayo on fried potatoes and ketchup on scrambled eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches. I prefer most foods at they are although in my later years of life I have begun to enjoy tarter sauce with my fish whereas just a few years ago, I'd eat fish without any sauce whatsoever.

We don't eat a lot of pasta but occasionally I have macaroni and usually just cheese. I should try some different toppings I guess.

I don't think mayo is weird as pasta salad is made with mayo. my husband likes peppercorn salad dressing and cheese best

I have with tomato ketchup and shred fried chicken.

Sometimes I put Cheddar cheese and sometimes tomato soup.

I make mine with cheese and if I make my own then I add tuna.
