So, I am told that another celebrity died yesterday.

What I am really wondering, is why mass media is so obsessed with deat? It's a natural thing. And for this reason I am starting this discussion. The topic is simple: Why doesn't mass media, the local or world news, tell us good news about people who just got born? For every one celebrity who bites the dust, thousands of new life come into this world without anybody knowing it. I think it's about time we started getting good news about people who are getting born as well as baby animals and stuff? Wouldn't you like to know if a Baby Shark was born in your local zoo or lake? Wouldn't it be nice to know that maybe your high school math teacher just had triplets? I think it would be a good turn around to get more of the good news, even if the many new lives that are entering this world yesterday and today, are not yet celebrities, but maybe one day will be? lol

As Don Henley so eloquently put it, "People love dirty laundry." I don't watch the news. I get all I need to know on Youtube. And then some.

I do think it is good that the media mentions celebrity deaths so fans can mourn and pay tribute to them.

media, does announce celebrity births, and certain zoo animals.. as far as an old teacher, I would have to still be in contact to hear that kind of news. If not for the media, announcing some of the deaths of celebrities, how would we find out about it?
