Relationship or single

I become to wonder why some people are in relationship if they just complain how they don't feel free. Just break up and be free then. After a while the same people would complain how lonely they feel... My thoughts about this are that you should not focus on what others have and value what you already got because there are people who are jealous of you too.

I think once you feel confident and good about yourself, you will be happy either way. People who are not, tend to feel unhappy single or not. Just my opinion :)

Here I am, the one who complains no matter what. First, old habits die hard, it's always difficult to make a change and move on. And then, yes, we should be happy with what we have, always looking at the bright side of things. I keep on telling myself I'm happy to be single again. I wouldn't say I want a relationship now, I only want free cuddles.

I think people are in discontent with themselves and are looking for the cure outside of themselves. That's why when they are in relationships, they complain. And when they are not, they still complain. Until they find contentment within themselves, they'll never be happy with where they are in life. I think this is not only limited to their relationship, but the overall aspects of their person. Because that's just how things work.

It is a human tendency - no one feels happy in his/her present situation. Singles want that they should be in a relationship, those who are in a relationship want to become single. what about you? Are you in a relationship?

@GegeTheMechanic As you grow older, you would start understanding humans in a better way. Nice to hear that you are single. I wish I were a single.

If they feel lonely then that means they are not with the right person. Life has many bumps but the one thing i do believe in is that there is that one person that will make you complete. That person that doesnt let you feel lonely at all. Thankfully i can say i have found my better half.

People who complain about their relationships are mostly afraid to be alone or it is not as easy as you think when leaving. The person could be abusive, or they have a kid, or they share something that isn't easy to split, or it could be something more than that. It is better to be supportive and help the person out. And with the complaining about being lonely, well they need to learn more about themselves instead of being preoccupied with having someone else in their life. But that isn't an easy task either.

@GegeTheMechanic thank you! The short version is, it will happen when the person is ready, whether it be for leaving or finding haha

@GegeTheMechanic you are wright, most people don't really appreciate what they have on till they don't have it anymore, a lot of people are jealous of what others have when others are jealous of them - i guess that's what it meant by the grass is greener on the other side-. anyway happiness is a state of mind you have to be happy with yourself 1st before you will ever be happy with anything else in life
