Have you ever taken the 16 personalities test?
A person can look extrovert from the surface, but then they found out they're introverts.
Introverts usually try to hide their feelings, they won't complain or tell things straight away.
Introverts also find social interactions to drain a lot of their energies, they may enjoy spending time with others but after a while they need to stay alone and recover.
I'm an introvert, I'm also a little shy at first so it wasn't hard to guess.
And my personality type is INFP. Sometimes INTP. Maybe we can't really choose one category.

I am not clear what is an extrovert? I have not come across people who claim to be extrovert. Majority of us are introvert and so am I.

@Bluedoll - Yes, I more or less agree with you that many of us are introverts and extroverts both. We are actually a mix of it. We generally do not come across people who are on extreme ends. It is very difficult to find a person, who is a complete introvert or extrovert.
Yes, you are very right that an introvert would enjoy being alone in a room along with a computer and would get lost in his own work. On the other hand, those who are extrovert would like to interact with others, like marketing guys do. I think most of the guys who need to do regular public dealings or interaction with others, would fall into the category of extroverts. Someone like me, who does not like a field job could fit into the category of an introvert.

@dpk262006 @Bluedoll I don't know what an extrovert is like either.
Do they exist then? Or is that a legend?

For the most part, I would say I am an introvert. Most of the time, I Love the time where I am alone, and can work at posting on here, working on my business etc and find I can concentrate more and most of the time since I am corresponding with others, I never truly feel alone.

I'm an introvert and I have social anxiety. I like people and meeting new people but I'm not comfortable with everyone. I'm passive too not aggressive type. I enjoy my time alone

I actually thought of telling as "extrovert". Just like what you mentioned I like my own company sometimes. I like to go for lunch alone, read alone in college days.. that makes me to understand me a lot better ..
Mostly I'm extrovert ..

I am an Ambivert. Yes, combination of both. Even I do avoid being in crowd but there are times when I try to get along with complete strangers and be someone else as they barely know me. Also I can spend hundreds of hours alone and entertain myself completely without any complains. Its all fun to be around yourself rather than being with all wannabe and judgmentals.

I am, without a doubt, an introvert - an INTJ to be exact. I do have several qualities that are more common in extroverts - I love performing on stage, for instance, and public speaking and things of that nature don't intimidate me at all... the schmoozing that may come afterward, however, does. Whenever I am asked or told something I don't anticipate and haven't rehearsed over and over, I don't know how to respond right away. As an INTJ, I do have a very strong "introverted intuition," meaning I often just know things without really knowing how I know, as well as a strong drive for knowledge and mastery of anything I become passionate about. I tend to map out my future to the point that I don't really know how to embrace the present a lot of the time. My inferior function is extroverted sensing - I am extremely sensitive to any sensory input from the environment outside of "my own little world," and I always pick up on the various energies of that environment, for better or for worse.
