Thumbnails that won't display

Am I the only one having a problem with thumbnails of photos and profile pictures that won't display?
Normally it wouldn't bother me too much but I had no internet connection for most of last night and today, so now that it's been fixed any problems I see worry me more than usual.
I've only noticed it happening at myLot, so hopefully the problem isn't at my end.

I think that this is something which @MyLotBugs needs to look at.

it happens when your internet is quite slow .
Once it is pretty fast, you should be able to see it :)

@MALUSE You sure ? Cos it worked for me.
Or maybe try in a different web broswer. Like for example, use chrome instead of internet explorer or use firefox.

@Lupita234 I see no reason why the avatars confuse you. It's the best way to recognize immediately a user. I suggest to everybody never to change their avatars.

I have been having the problem with all photos but that is also because my internet is slower than a snail stuck in molasses.

@DesirousDreamer Mine is often slow too and it certainly causes some problems, but I don't think internet speed had anything to do with it this time.

@DesirousDreamer It's always a relief when I know others are having the same problem, but more so when I've just had problems with my connection. It was really frustrating because it wasn't just the internet but our landline too.

@BelleStarr I think this kind of thing happens on most sites from time to time. If I hadn't had internet problems the day before, I wouldn't have worried about it at all.
