Do you still use a watch?

With the advent of new technologies and mobile world, I'm sure most of us have smart phones now and even with the basic model you will have all the utilities like clock, timer, alarm etc. But if you ask few people like my dad never gives up wearing a watch .. he follows that from his childhood and that makes him more punctual to carry a hand watch with him. Mobile phone is just a secondary option to him. How many of us would still prefer to use watches? I'm not the person who uses a watch.. I feel I get everything in a mobile. How about you ?

I like to wear watch. It looks awkward to check time on mobile phone in meeting or special occasions.

Well said. It's unprofessional behaviour to see time during meeting in a mobile. People might think we check whatsapp notifications.. ;)

I have one watch right now that works. I wear it when I am getting dressed up. If its hot outside I do not wear it. I hate the feeling that any type of jewelry leaves on my skin when it is hot outside.

That's good. Do you like to match up watches to your dress?

I do not care at all for a mobile, I have always used a wristwatch and I prefer it to the mobile.

@smileyhema I have rarely worn a watch. I pretty much just use my phone now when I am out and needing to know the time.

Even I'm of that kind. I do have a watch that was gifted by my colleagues when I quit work. I try to use it but most of the time, I forget it. =)

Hmm watch has its own merits. But people like us aren't comfortable with it for some reasons.

I do because I don't have a cellphone. But i don't wear it all the time. And I don't use the alarm on it.

I don't wear a watch so often but sometimes it's more easy to check time on it than take a phone and look from that

Very true.. mainly when it is theft-prone zone, it is better to have watches over phone
