How do you decide on your laundry soap?

I am in love with gain all for the fragrance it has. However,I was reading a post here one day. The person buys what ever is on sale. So today I went to order from walmart and checked the sale prices. Sun was on sale for the huge tub for $11 I think or less. I decided to try it after reading the reviews. Along with that for about $4 I bought a scent booster by Purex. Now I know that smells good and fragrance is what I need. I got enough soap to last me the year. I think I love shopping the sale price. I normally spend over $50 on supplies today it was under that. I had to get the gain dish soap though it was under $2 and I also bought my neighbor one to try. I better be home with all these items coming they could just drop at my door.

I guess the commercials about Tide got me and so it has been Tide for many years. The clothes come out clean and so what more do I want?

I usually go on reviews or leads from friends and family. Then look up for offers around to see where it's available at best pricing.

@sharon6345 yes it's better to learn from someone's experience . At least out of 10 people one would have commented with brief helpful info.

I have to buy the "free and clear" type laundry detergents. It is usually All but sometimes purex.

We make our own to avoid chemicals that could cause allergy issues and worse.

I used borax and washing stuff to make mine a long while ago. Maybe that would help my dry skin. Which recipe do you follow? Thanks.

I start with the cheapest on the shelf and give that a try. Sometimes it works amazingly well, and other times... not so much. But there have been times when I saved a ton of money that way!!

I purchase what is the least expensive. Fragrance isn't important to me. Just want the job done.
