President Donald Trump ?Explains? American Politics in This One Sentence?

The Washington Post said he said it during his Presidential campaign, "we’re being ripped off." Actually, the article takes 'many more than one sentence' to explain American politics, and it's sort-of the same way Lord Jesus Christ "won" the people's heart---by 'telling us what our problem is' and 'promising to fix it.'
Trump and Sanders explain their victories far better than any pundit has done.

Too noisy America! I am non-American but I am interested in American society. Also I keep a sharp eye on global and local media about the president Trump's appearances. It looks like that there are so many unstable things in this country that most of the world consider great.

And 'one of the reasons people think America's great is that we convince ourselves that we "make it that way" (rather than thinking 'we're lucky to be here' or whatever people elsewhere think of their condition ) Also, I just 'realized' something: Donald Trump 'won' the Presidency partly based on a promise to NOT 'rip us off,' but he just signed an 'Executive Order' (or something) REPEALING a law that guarded us against businesses that 'rip us off!'
President Trump's recent executive order on financial regulations has investors asking, "Will Trump undo Dodd-Frank?" Here's what to expect and why it matters...

@mythociate I had a look at the article but as I am non-American these things are too inner to the USA and they are no close to me as a foreigner.

@WriterAI President Obama gave us a bunch of laws that keep finance-companies from stealing our money, but President Trump looks like he'll be cancelling those laws so finance-companies can start stealing our money again ... is what it looks like.

Im American and I cannot stand Trump, I don't even like to call him our president because he is a freaking idiot haha and I think the way he is trying to turn away refugees is horrible. The only reason he got elected was thru shadiness and salesman tricks. Just try to remember that not all americans are like him thank goodness.

The reason why he did get elected (tho rumors do say something about 'him losing the popular vote' or whatever)---the popular idea that 'if what you've been doing isn't working, do something drastically different!' (related to the idea that 'doing the same thing over-&-over & expecting different results is "the textbook-definition of insanity"') But he is sort of a cautionary tale, because he is something most-Americans hope to be (and not "rich," but rather something Americans actually hope to be) someday: Old!
