AM I IN BIG TROUBLE?

Since yesterday I have been experiencing a distorted display on my laptop screen, - a very grainy picture with faded rainbow colors. The writing is clear enough, but the pictures look awful, and I am wondering what could be the reason. It did clear up for a couple of hours this morning and I thought maybe it was just a small problem that somehow managed to right itself, but my relief was short lived. I am now wondering how big is the problem I face - and if I will have to get a technician to fix it.

Hard to fix those online. Need a more real source. What i would do anyway.

That happened to me a few years ago. There was something wrong with the screen. It was fixed, I don't know how as I'm not a techno minded person.

maybe it is LCD'd? hahaha! i had that problem too with our tablet here. now, that tablet is no longer functioning.

Have you checked to see how strong a signal you're getting. That interferes can interfere with color and loading time as well. Do you have a program called "Glary Utilities"? It fixes a number of problems at once and it is free at C-NET.

My signal hasn't been very strong of late and everything has been kind of slow . I live in the country where there are a lot of trees and the night before this happened there was a lot of heavy rain. I don't know if any of those factors could have any bearing on the problem.

sounds like your video is going.if you're lucky and the laptop is wide enough and has card slots they should be able to plop another in and disable the hard wired one.
