Illegal substances....

"Pssst...hey...check this out...want some?" "Wow...isn't that stuff illegal?" "Oh come on...just try it...it's not gonna kill you or anything." "But it's illegal, there are laws against that." "Look it ain't hurting anyone...go ahead...try some." *starts downloading music torrent* _______________________________________________________________________ I didn't mean to become an addict. I thought I could control it. I'd just use a little bit occasionally. No harm to anyone else. But I started using it a little more...then a little more...and before I knew it, I was hooked. I started downloading entire discographies of bands I would never listen to. I started buying bigger...and bigger...external hard-drives to store the files on. I began using up every available MB of bandwidth. And now I watch out the curtained windows, hoping the Feds don't come knocking on my door.

Can you believe that here is NOT illegal if it's for personal use? I was so relieved when I knew.

That particular aspect of Swiss law amazed me when I first heard it...

@pgntwo I was very surprised and I double checked, my husband wanted to throw all my burned CDs and DVDs, the law saved me.

I can possibly blame 'Cat Scratch Fever' and 'Cat's In The Cradle' on him

@JolietJake Those big drives take some erasing... and the Feds can still get stuff off of them afterwards.

Although there is a risk that you might be caught I doubt highly that the government is truly concerned with your minor illegal indiscretion. I would like to think that they are putting our law enforcement resources to better use. Lol you might want to not do it anymore if it is making you look over your shoulder.
