I love the sound of rain in the middle of the night...

So, I am up working on a parenting blog post, and watching Homeland, while the kids are sleeping. I can hear the sound of the rain at the window and went out to take a short video of the sound. I love it so much! Soon it will be warm again, and I will miss it. We have had a very rainy season, and we couldn't have needed it more, but I know it won't last forever. One day I would like to move to a wetter climate.

Raining, especially at night, is amazingly soothing to listen to. As long as I don't have to go out into it, I love rain!

We have an iron roof on our house and we can lay in bed and listen to the rain on the roof. It is a wonderful sound.
