I just heard on the radio that today is National Pizza Day!!

So who is going to have pizza today in honor of such a special day? Most people I know like pizza because they can add whatever toppings they like to suit their taste. I enjoy making homemade pizza and adding lots of toppings. We usually do ground beef, salami, pepperoni, bacon, green peppers, mushrooms and black olives with lots of cheese. I like adding hot peppers to mine just to give it some heat. What toppings do you like on a pizza?
My favorite pizza though is a Donair Pizza which I posted a picture of. It has sweet spicy beef topped with onions, tomatoes, cheese and a sweet garlic sauce. It is so good!

I miss eating pizza a lot 
I try to lose weight now so I can't eat that kind of food but since it's national pizza day then I could get atleast one slice

You can still eat pizza while losing weight ever heard of Atkins pizza or lean cuisine.

Now I'm hungry!
I was too tired to even eat supper last night, and its catching up with me.
I like pizza too, we usually have it every couple of weeks.
There's a great place that we like to order in from, we'll miss that when we move from here, we've been eating their pizza since we were dating back in our 20's.
The Hawiian pizza was originally named in the town closest to us.

I am Italian and I like a classic pizza with very few toppings, my favorite is Pizza Margherita, an Italian classic. Only tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. The important is a great crust and baked in a wood fired oven. I have a wood fired pizza oven in our home.

@Happy2BeMe The previous owner, who built our actual house, was an Italian too and he was from Naples (Italy), he wanted to be sure he could make a real pizza at home if he was unable to find a good pizza in the area.

@Happy2BeMe I did, it was yummy. Now I' m waiting for xrays of my shoulders. Got an injection in one shoulder for ? Tendonitis? Bursitis? Whatever it is, it really hurts. I feel like such a wimp sometimes. But much to praise God for.

Wow! Now that I learnt that, I should put that on my calendar. I love pizza! I prefer pepperoni, three cheese, or the supreme where there are lots of bell peppers, and the good stuff.

I heard this is pizza day as well but we will be eating what's in the fridge tonight. I enjoy pepperoni and bacon on my pizza. =)

@Happy2BeMe Yes, it does. One time, while at a restaurant, I tried a ham & pineapple pizza. It is tasty. Have you tried that type before?

@LeaPea2417 I have tried it but I am just not a fan of pineapple on my pizza. I've had it a few times at work when they order pizza but I wouldn't go out and buy one for myself.
