Ah for a brownie!

I don't need a brownie, but I sure do want one. I am tired, a tad cranky, and don't want to cook dinner let alone make brownies. But I sure do want to eat one. Disappointed because I arranged things to be free for something, and we aren't going now. Life happens, but irritated because I worked hard to have that time free, by doubling up elsewhere. Tired of juggling two jobs. Tired of being broke. Tired of dealing with the X. Tired of... well bad luck. Tired of seeing some people who don't need stuff walk into all kinds of great luck and cool things, and those of us who bust our bums, fall further and further behind. And just want that brownie! What do you want?

Well, now I want a brownie!! And I want a vacation on a warm and sunny beach. A new car without a car payment. A bigger house with a large kitchen! Also want to retire. Crap, I am poor and have to work to make ends meet. So, I guess I'll make brownies and be happy with that.

I want all of that too! Alas, I am also poor, and working doesnt even make ends meet, not with 2 part time jobs that don't pay well.

I love chocolate but I have never been a big fun of brownies, but I would like a good cheesecake for dessert.

@Jessicalynnt If I were less lazy, I would get up from this chair, go down in the kitchen and make one . Well, may be tomorrow.

Well, gosh, now I want a brownie. My friend from Colorado makes the best brownies, but she's in Florida now and will soon be moving west again. And, no, not that kind of Colorado brownie.

@Jessicalynnt I never thought I'd want one, but between the fibro and the arthritis I'm starting to wonder...

lol, that's ok, the world works better if we don't all like the same stuff, there would never be any brownies out there, if that was everyone's fav

@Jessicalynnt I don't like fudge or chocolate pudding - all other chocolate is ok.

@AbbyGreenhill I can handle fudge in small bits, it's often too sweet. Carob fudge I like, but it's nowhere near as sweet. Chocolate pudding is ok, but not a huge favorite. Now Chocolate mousse, I love. I also prefr dark over milk, and hate white chocolate.

That's so strange...I was just thinking I really, really want to bake some brownies. But I just got an injection in my shoulder this afternoon and the doc said not to use that arm for a couple of days. Bummer. Sorry to hear about the disappointments. Hope things will be brighter for you tomorrow.

@Jessicalynnt Thanks, it still hurts, but a little better. My husband is very talented, but I suspect it would be more work to help him make brownies than to make them myself.

Anything with sugar works for me. I had half a peanut butter cookie for dessert. I guess it's better than nothing. Hate to constantly watch my sugar intake!!

I've tried to cut sugar back in what I cook, and use some stevia instead
