For three days I tried to check my light bill. Something was wrong with the system. Well I got in today and checked it. The current amount due on your account is $78.21. Your charges include any installment charges due. That is my light bill charges for next month. This month I paid $110 bill.. i did something I normally don't do last night. I shut off the power strip by my bed. I also shut off the ice maker. Which I will leave off till I need more ice. I have enough made already. This is good new being that I am going to pay extra on a bill next month. did you find a bill lower this time around? I hope so.

That is great. Mine is always higher this time of year because of the heat.

You don't get help for the heat bills.

as it's unpredictable whether my brain's 'working on all cylinders' from day-to-day (though it usually is surrrrrrrrrrrrre), my 'guardian' manages all the bills-&-things. But there are those times when I've saved enough 'change' from my weekly pizza-delivery to get 'something extra' (I 'budget' about $25 for pizza; and usually pay about $21, leaving me $4 extra. If I don't spend it on 'something else' (movies, snacks etc.), I sometimes have enough left-over for 'something extra' )

The power bill is less in winter here in LA but zooms in summer because of A/C.

I always try to pay more than I am supposed to. I switch off and pull the plug of most appliances. It does help to reduce the bill a bit.

Our bill only goes up high in the summer because we have two window acs running. But in the winter, my mom is only paying 16 dollars some months. It was a little more this year considering I kind of just have a board over my window instead of a glass...it gets really cold. It is good to conserve energy. I like to keep my lights off and things unplugged as much as I can.
