I repeatedly responded to your posts. You neither came back to comment on them nor do you have the courtesy to get back to my posts. Out you go from my friends' list. Have you had this experience? Or do you keep posting regardless of them ignoring you?

I'll give them a few chances, but then I just ignore them if they haven't bothered to reciprocate. There are certain people whose posts I just skip over when I see them in the lists - I don't even bother reading their first line.

I'm with Jabo on this one--people who don't support you aren't really friends.

@AliCanary Yes, a site like this one is a two-way thing, or should be.

There is one post of mine I have ignored only because there are so many twists and turns on the conversations . . . I need a chunk of time to be able to focus on what everyone said . . . so I will try to get to that one this weekend! But . . . I realize everyone can't be here consistently . . . and I for sure am not here consistently . . . so I tend to be more lenient about these things. I will say I do make an effort to get back to everyone if I can.

I better be lenient with me instead. Why have a load when I can have a lesser load?

@allknowing I guess I don't mind having a loaded load . . . but you gotta go with what you feel. I mainly use my notification list and the recent discussions list . . . I usually find the usual friends there anyway. I actually have some friends who I don't think are my friends list!

@much2say I too follow a pattern which includes recent posts where I do find posts which I feel I can respond to but that is the end of that activity in some cases

Honestly I am not bothering about the reply on my responses. If I get notifications then I go and like the comment. If the comment deserve any reply then I will give. I bothered all these in the old version, not now.

I too would if I get notifications I would act on them. But you will see you will not get notifications if they have not responded or commented (lol)

I don't really notice - at least I don't think I do. Some people respond to me and I haven't followed them but I usually go to their latest post and try to respond.

@allknowing I do what I can but it is woefully inadequate. Sometimes it is because of other commitments. Other times it is health limitations and still others are simply because I can't keep up. I do tend to look over posts even if I can't get a valuable response out at the time.

Yes. I keep posting though others are ignoring my post. The goal is to gain at least $1 a day.

If you post and they do not respond then you do not earn. Similarly if your respond and they do not comment there again you do not earn. It is their activity that earns you when they come to your activity

No problem. If one sees that posts are not responded to, those users could be left alone. Probably they do not like certain users coming to their posts either.

I respond to what I find interesting. If I write my own discussion and get responses I rarely visit the responders discussions actively...if it come naturally so be it. By that I mean when I get a response I do not always go to the responders profile and respond to one of their discussions. Sometimes I do, depending on the response...normally I just follow them and get their discussions through follows or most recent. I never do response for response just for the sake of it.

If one never interacts despite repeatedly responding to their posts that is the time I leave that user alone.

@allknowing If I respond to a lot of one persons discussions and they never comment back to me I eventually move on. If I respond to a lot of one persons discussions and they get back to me on that discussion but never respond to any of mine I don't care and carry on responding to theirs if I find them interesting.

I know I tend to favor those who have responded to me, but I do not keep up with who does or does not on a regular basis. Often those posts that you describe are not interesting and eventually the author will not be able to draw me in.

Not to sound like I am playing favortism or anything but I keep track of everyone that responds to my stuff and comment on their stuff as much as I can even if it is just a couple posts a day.

People who don't respond are seriously having some attitude problem. It happened with me in actual life. My boss the most unfriendly guy.Two years back..On my first day at work I wished him good morning n he didnt respond. I did the same next day too..still he didnt ,then one of my collague said that he never smiles or wishes So there r people of this type. We just have to move on. Dont think much bout them ?

I haven't had much time to spend here like before. Usually I just look at my notifications and managed to clear the list. If there are not too many notifications, then I will spend time to look at other discussions. I don't bother much about my friends' list. I don't even know who's following me and who I am following. So they don't bother me at all.

I seldom do so. If you see my repeated response, it must be something wrong with the connection and I thought my response was not sent out, and then I pressed responded again. If I found such kind of mistake, usually I would delete the repeated response.

I try my best to respond and read posts but sometimes it doesn't work out the way I want it to. I'm very far behind on here due to just being so busy. I seem to be getting more behind instead of catching up.

Keep responding more on their post as they are highbrow in nature, many times they might be read your respond and post but they don't think you're important to them, your post is important though. So they just skip giving a like on it.
