Have you ever done volunteer work?

I have volunteered around here a few times with different organizations. I may start doing it again for the humane society. They need a grant writer and I have taken a class in that and have materials, so I might try my hand at helping them out. What kind of volunteer work have you done?

I did volunteer work for 6 years, but a different kind of work. I ran a kids bowling league for 6 years, all my Saturdays shot but it was fun

I volunteer for school things mostly... to help with the kids' marching band program, at the sports concession stands, that sort of thing.

My sister does tons of volunteer activity like that. When her son graduates from HS this year, not sure what she is going to do with herself lol.
