Endless posts on issues with uploading images

Since yesterday I am reading posts about users not being able to upload images. Enough posts have been written here about how one can make that possible. And the solution is to reduce the size until Admin sorts it out. Anything below 55 kb can be safely uploaded. And this can be done using many software such as 'paint' The image uploaded here has been reduced to 35 kb

@allknowing I am not an expert at all on this matter. I use a resizing site (as I'm surw you have seen mentioned) bur I have no idea what I am doing there as it does it by itself. There were 'guide' posts yesterday and they are sufficicent.

@mysdianait I was the first one that resorted to a smaller size and others followed suit (lol) How about writing a post pointing to a post written by JJ? I have humbly accepted being a nonentity here.

This is temporary. Once Admin sorts it out it will be back as before I assume.

@allknowing my first attempts at using picresize and freeimageconverter (using one picture) were both successful. they came out bigger than your picture here.

There are actually several factors that govern the image uploading, but size is always relevant.

Today I had two new discussion so far. I could upload one image without problems, but I couldn't upload another image to another discussion and this is quite strange. Since the image size is small. It seems I am countering the same problem like many people here. There is something wrong to upload the image.

That is why they are complaining. I had sorted it out and talked about it but many have not read posts written on how to overcome this hurdle.

Yes, reducing the size is an easy fix. Puny photos are really not as effective, but better than nothing.

I donĀ“t upload many things at the moment as most of my photos go into a USB i have and they have to stay there till I need them. I have uploaded a couple of thing like that flower I showed you the other day a photo of the dog and that was it. No problems there at all.
