I'm a Chocolate and Card kind of Girl

I always love reading cards and letters. Emails and e-cards might have the fastest delivery time but the thoughts of reading a hand written card and letters are very special to me. . It's been awhile since I got any cards, or box of chocolates, or a small teddy bear. Busy times is one of the factors as well as the Custom guys who probably liked my talking camel and boxes of chocolates because the deliveries was never made. Lessons learned, so I told my friends to please, please, please, next time they send me something real special do not surprise me anymore and do not throw away the tracking numbers. Years ago, I was feeling a bit lonely and broken hearted. I told my best friend I want a teddy bear. I was expecting a small bear. When, his cousin met me the bear was in tow inside a big pink sack. The bear was half my size. My Mom found it hilarious. But the note with the bear was very touching. He also sent me different kinds of chocolates in a plastic container. The container was sealed with a packaging tape and there's a note that says "This is for Sasha. If your not Sasha do not open". The most outrageous gift I've ever got was a bouquet of long stemmed blue roses from someone I just met one time. Apparently, I helped my him in someways that I don't really understand. He wrote me a letter with the roses. Too bad I lost the letter when I came home. I still have some of the letters and cards from friends from another countries. And notes I exchanged in college with my classmates. I treasure them all. Some of these days I will unearth them and read them again. Hmmm, I hope someone send me a long hand written letter though. Its a tough wish. Let's see. Happy Valentines Day!!! SOON!!!!!

@diosabella That's true. It could be fun but we do celebrate our togetherness from time to time. Just last night we needed to stay in a motel unexpectedly and we had a lovely meal out and a night away so it's all good. When Vince was working he would bring me flowers from time to time so we don't really need a Valentine's Day.

@JudyEv My boyfriend too. He's very thoughtful. Bring me gifts from places he visited. It wasn't a pleasure kind of visit but he still have time to shop for me even he's busy with conventions. I also love when he gives me flowers. Nothing extravagant. Even one long stemmed rose will be enough to make my heart flutter.

@averygirl72 I don't know. But I used to get some gifts not knowing who sent them. When I was staying with my Aunt in the city someone used to hang gifts to the gate. And I get flower deliveries with no note. Just like this Valentine, I haven't stay with my Aunt for 10 years but she still get gifts with my name on it occasionally.

@stbrians I'm quite busy last month even now. So I just come and go here. I haven't really spend that much time. Just 5 to 10 mins a day only. Reading and commenting if there is something interesting. Besides, if I write a discussion right now, I might target just one person and it will be ugly. So better to just relax and comment to other people's discussions than writing my own. Hahahaha... hows your time here?
