How Cheap Can I Go?

I have read about the people who exchange cards in the store so they do not have to spend money but I think I just went below them. Yes I got even cheaper! At the doctors office they had a dish of candy set out, since it was nearing the end of the day I asked, can I have a few pieces? The nurse said sure! I got three Hersey`s kisses and two Hersey`s chocolate hearts. On the way home I handed them to Tony and said " Happy Valentine`s day.

It came from your heart and hand, so that is what counts, isn't it?

You are very funny You remind me that when we were in the airport in Singapore. I saw a dish of candies in the information desk. I liked those candies and I told my son to get a few pieces of them to me I am an adult and therefore I feel embarrassed to get it myself. But it is fine for a child to get candies although my son didn't eat candies

We're cheaper than you are. We ignore the day all together--except perhaps an occasional reference to "stupid cupid day."

Well, unless he knew you got them from your Doctors office and it bothers him, then it is the thought that counts, and if he enjoyed them this is all that matters.

Being alone, I like to buy myself little gifts, especially since I always chose the right thing. This year, I'm to broke to. Me and my valentine, my toy poodle are going to watch NBC's #ThisIsUs tonight. You can't get much cheaper than that.

I honestly think that its kind of funny the exchanging the cards in the store to not have to pay for them. I think mostly because it makes sense. My wife doesn't do cards and she feels bad when people send her them because she says they are a waste of money. Like she said I get xmas cards and when the holiday is over they get taken down and thrown away. She said why not email me a card save the paper and the stamp. I think what you did was kind of cute and funny. At least you thought of him. You didn't have to spend anything. Right now this stuff is seen as super cheap in this economy I think its wise lol.
