Asking for shifts?

This girl is really irritating me now. She expects me to give my shifts when she needs money. She said she's off work 20 to 24 and she'd take my weeks of shifts. I said sorry no I'd be short bills because that alone is $450. I said I can't afford it. She texted me yesterday saying she has the afternoon off and she can cover. I said sorry no I need the money for dentist and vet bills. I don't understand how she doesn't understand this.

She's in school for the sake of being in school. She lives half on campus and other half at home. I believe she gets student loans. She goes the girl who use to be here would give me her shifts. Yes, but she's also young and clearly could live off 30 hours a week. I work 55 hours and barely getting by.

@amnabas I refuse to give my shifts away after the last time. She agreed I'd work my 1pm to 6pm and then she works 6pm to 11pm. I drive 45 minutes to work and back. She showed up at 3pm and expected me to leave I said no its jot even worth my drive. I left after 3 hours as she was breathing down my neck but I won't be doing that again as she expects it. So when she asked for tomorrow I said no as I'm not loosing more hours

She understands she just doesn't care thinking about herself first.

If it is possible for you to help her then I think it's OK.
