1958 – Frankie Avalon came out with his first hit which became popular followed by many others. The first was “Dede Dinah”.
That same year Jerry Lee Lewis performed his hit “Great Balls of Fire” on American Bandstand.
1962 – Ray Charles records a favorite hit “I Can’t Stop Loving You”.
1972 – Linda Ronstadt came out with her only number one hit “You’re No Good”.
