Could It Be Spring???

This whole week is suppose to be in the mid 60's to lower 70's (Fahrenheit.) I can't believe we're having this kind of weather in Nebraska, but I'm not complaining! 
So needless to say we've been spending time outside. I think the hubby is getting the tractor fixed. Still have to buy a tire for it though. I walked around picking up trash that was laying around. If you've read any of my posts you will know that when we got this place it had been vacant for 7 years and people were using it for the local landfill!! Then about two years ago we had a tornado that came through, so we were still picking up from that too. Trying to pick up the majority of stuff as this summer we intend to buy us a riding lawn mower. I used a push mower and mowed probably close to two acres!! 
So, when we get the riding lawn mower, we can get ALL 4 acres!!

Even though we "thought" we got all the trash, when the wind blows or we rake, we find more trash buried in layers!!

@STOUTjodee That is just terrible! My friend's father lives at once was a junkyard around the home. They got rid of all the metal and raked up all the grass but more would unearth itself. They had dump trucks of dirt brought it to cover it all and then put down grass seed! It looks so much better now.

@shaggin , yes that is what are plans are as well to plant grass. The way it is now, most of it just is weeds, except where I have been able to mow. So with a riding lawn mower I will be able to keep the weeds down!

We live in Ontario, Canada, and will be experiencing temperatures about 10 degrees cooler then you will. And they are calling for it until March-maybe that groundhog was right about the early spring!! 
I just hope that we don't get slammed with snow in March or April-that's not impossible.

That's what I hope doesn't happen here either...snow in April!!

In Oklahoma, "the wind comes sweepin` down the plain ... or is that 'plane'?" Anyway, it's warm enough ... not 'hot' yet (if it gets that way this year).
I stay inside most of the time anyway.

we are also in th midwest. beautiful day today. i would like one more snow though. we haven't had enough. we've barely had any... part of why i live int eh midwest is i want FOUR seasons.... but yes, i enjoyed going outside today

I know there still might be a chance of freezes yet, but I'm so looking forward to planting my garden!!

Snow..snow and more snow here. It is suppose to warm up for the next week or so but it will do little to melt all the snow that we have. We received over 4 feet of snow in less then a week.
