Philippines is a tropical country so it is not usual for us to have a very cold temperature. Last February 15 and 16, there's a place here in the Philippines where the temperature dropped below zero. It's in Atok, Benguet, a place near the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio City. I had heard in the news that in February 15th, it was -2 degrees Celsius and in the 16th, it dropped to -3 degrees. The temperature in my hometown this morning is 23 degrees while in Baguio City, it's 12 degrees Celsius.

Even for people who are use to the chilly weather here in Baguio, still we had to put on extra thick clothing to ward off the cold.

That sounds as if a part of our home country has winter. I am still using electric fan when sleeping here in my home town though my relatives felt cold already.

hmm i guess it's more accurate to say -3 degrees celsuis in 'northern' philippines? it's been dry here in metro manila, not as cool as northern luzon, but i think in the visayas and mindanao regions they'e dealing with rain.

That sucks we don't like the cold but we don't have the luck of being able to move to a place that is always warm. However here in the south the weather is really warm most of the time.
