Feeling sad, a friend's hubby died yesterday

He was sick, a complication of diabetes and leukaemia but he was managing it, however something triggered a fatal heart attack. The tragic thing is, my friend just came back from the Phils to attend the wake and funeral of her brother. It's a double tragedy and I hope that she is strong enough to cope and grieve properly for her departed loved ones. If you are in her situation, how do you grieve and cope? I have offered my help and support to her if she needed someone around her.

So very sad my heart hurts for her and what she is going through. She is going to need the love and support of her friends now more then ever.

Yes indeed, can't fathom two loved ones to go one after the other

That certainly is very sad. She may need some support in the days to come.

It certainly is, I had time so I stayed with her for the day and I think that she's still in shock, taking things so calmly.

@vickyrose Some people cope really well at the time but go to pieces later. I'm sure she appreciated you staying with her.

Everyone is different. She might find peace knowing her husband has escaped his suffering.

She might too, she said that she expected it to happen but didn't realise to happen too soon.

That is so heartbreaking. I cannot imagine having to deal with those two deaths at once. Shows how unfair life can be!

It is indeed, life treats us so harshly sometimes?
