Wow, its bad out there now. We have roads closed and are setting rain records. People in my area please stay inside, as its not safe. There is mud on the freeway. Trains and the local airport are closed. Amtrak isn't running and all the trees that are down and the railroad track is going to take time to deal with what is wrong. Take care and be safe.

I am guessing you are in California? I am not fishing but I know that they are killed with the rain out there. I have a sister out there who lives in Lodi and says it is really bad. Stay safe you Fishmomma.

Yes, I'm in California and its bad. The city next to me people were rowing down the streets, as the water is deep. Its sad to know everyone couldn't be saved.

Thanks. Personally, I hate rainy days. I joke that I can't go out when it's raining, "because I'm so sweet, I'll melt".

@Fishmomma ~I'm glad that the post made you smile. I haven't seen any of the movies that they are in, but I love the @Minions.

Is there a typhoon in your area or something?Somewhat a strong typhoon hit your area, I guess.

No flooding because of the huge amount of rain. The hillsides can't handle all the water, so mud is ending up on the freeway. Trees are falling making it worse. There was damage to the train track earlier today, so Amtrak can't run. We have fields and streets that people are rowing down, so just to much rain.

@Fishmomma That is really a heavy rain. Thanks to God we don't much like that in our place, but we have some rain, it is just not so heavy. Only when hit by a strong typhoon that can move trees and floods.

It's raining here also. My head is also aching. I don't know what to do.

Hope it stops soon. Most of this state really doesn't need more now.

It seems as though you are getting your seven years worth of rain all at once. I hope people heed the warnings and stay safe.

I know that California needed rain, I hope that now you are not going to have too much.

I am wondering the same thing. Its hard to believe that most of California is getting more water than anyone could have thought would happen. Its was shocking earlier watching the news and seeing all the damage.
