Do You Like To Be In An All Glass Beauty Parlor ?

On weekdays on the way home, while riding a jeepney, it would always pass by a nice beauty parlor, where it is all glass. You can see what they are doing inside for their customers. I even saw a friend whose hair was being blow dried while her hand was being manicured also. In my mind, I never want people seeing me being beautified in a beauty parlor. What about you, do you like to be in a beauty parlor, where people passing by can see what’s being done to you? Note: Picture attached is from google.com.ph

I think, the reason why they made an all - glass beauty parlor is to attract customers. They want the people see what they are doing inside. Many parlors now are made that way.

Same here. I want to relax I don't want to be eyed by passerby. It is not also a good feeling when people are looking at you as your hair is being turn upside down... Lol!

The thing that gets me here is the eyebrow threading stalls out in public. Most unnerving. I would hate this too.

Of course, that one should really have privacy. Just like when one is having her hair rebonded.

ahh, this is your discussion that i planned to comment on yesterday but the internet got unstable so my like and comment did not appear. but it is nicer now because the net is good and i can like now.. now my comment: i have my hair trimmed and dyed at Desire which is situated in front of the super-mart (Unitop) and the wall is made of glass. when i am inside, i can see out, but when outside, i cannot see in. why? it is because the glass wall has many posters that you cannot be seen inside anyway.

Precisely, it should be that way with an all glass salon, because it's like that with the salons I go to. However, this particular salon, has no posters to cover the view from the outside. I don't like to be seen by others while I am inside, being "beautified" at a salon.

@ridingbet I have so much money I would like those laser things of Viki Belo , to take away the wrinkles and look young despite the old age , just like her. No need to have those surgical things.

I think for just a haircut it will be okay. But if you will be rebonded, then , surely you want privacy. Especially, the threading of your eyebrow, of course you want it with a .privacy of course.

Yeah, I think for guys, the barbershop is open. Though, they can also be at a beauty parlor as some guys do. But for women where their hair will be shampooed and all , I want privacy for those.

At least for you guys it's just a simple haircut. Us, girls they would shampoo our hair first then they would blow dry. Besides , like for rebonding, they will do a lot for your hair and it has to be something private.
