Another beautiful sunny day here in my little corner of the myLot world. Yesterday was like a spring day here so my daughter and I decided to go out and enjoy it while it lasts. We took our coffee to the park and wandered around a little but it was nice enough to sit on a bench and watch everyone enjoying the spring like day.
Today it's nice but just a little too windy to sit outside. I'm heading off to the grocery store to do the shopping. There isn't much on sale this week so I'm going to have to try to see if I can find some hidden sales while in the store. Thankfully I don't need too much so the process should be quick and easy.
It's Presidents Day here in the US so it's a holiday. I'm wondering now if I"m crazy to venture to the grocery store today since it might be extra crowded if the kids are off from school and many businesses are closed.
Anyway, I just wanted to pop on and say hello before I head out.

I had forgotten it was President's Day. So, no mail and my planned trip to the post office this afternoon will have to be postponed until tomorrow. Thanks Marilyn! I would have been very annoyed to arrive and find it closed!!

I had big plans to go with my husband for his ultrasound, but I am sick and the last place I needed to go was a hospital to pick up more germs.

I went for a three mile hike yesterday and today I've probably walked close to that distance.

Wow 3 mile hike is great! My knees are horrible so I don't go out for a walk anymore.. It's more like a hobble

No, stores aren't closed just postal service, banks and some businesses. Many stores run big sales for Presidents Day

The stores in our area weren't too bad. Around the noon hour they are packed though. Thankfully I went out at about 2:00.

Happy Presidents Day! It was 82 today, but we had a gentle breeze off the water. I spent my morning cleaning, changing sheets, emptying the dishwasher, and doing two loads of laundry. Right in the middle of it I had an unexpected guest!
