if you are not disturbing anyone go for speakers otherwise stick to phones....

in general speakers are the best, coz sound in head phones is dangerously close to the ear, and may damage our earing temporarily or permanently...so, when chatting or when i need to be private, i prefer headphones, rest of all the time, i use speakers...

speakers to hear what u do not want others to hear and speakers to hear what is to be heard loud and at a distance i like both
