Spiraling on

Yeah, I'm still managing. The house is quiet, I don't like it. I don't like the being alone. I miss the kisses and the cuddles and the walks. Sooner or later I am going to call and see how he is doing. I hope well. I think well, I am sure he is having a blast with the other dogs, he did like to play. I have started, slowly looking at a few cats. I at least won't be alone, and I do like cats. We pondered being a foster family too for cats with no homes. That is something I have often toyed with doing, but never actually done. I am still sad, I will be whenever I think about the little dog who spent a few years with me. But it is what it is. I can at least write this now and not bawl. Catching up on mylot, playing games, working on LARP stuff, keeping busy, you know... oh and there went the alarm, time to shower for work. Tell me something funny or good!

oh...hahahhahaahaha.... I had a dog who would do that sort of thing. If he was guilty he'd just roll over on his back, or go hide. If he didn't he'd just look at you with a blank stare

Since you're sad now without the dog, why didn't you just keep it? I mean, if he meant that much to you, it would have only made sense to keep it.

@Jessicalynnt Okay. I understand. Pets do need a lot of attention. I know my mothers dog is always close to her and she is close to him. As we all are with the dog. That's why I personally don't have a dog, I know it is not a easy thing. It is a responsibility. And I don't have the time.

@inertia4 I once did, then my x husband cheated on me and I had to move. One dog went to live with my x mother in law, she is taking good care of him, the other I tried to keep, it just....well my living situation was different, and I am home much less now. I miss him so much, but we checked today and he'd already been adopted by a family with kids

because he was miserable here, he was depressed most of the time, and needed more time and attention, more dogs to be around, a more active family, keeping him here made me happy but not him. He was starting to act out more and more due to this. I'm still sad, but it's easier to hold on to the fact that it wasn't best for him

The LARP stuff sounds great - went to a few vampire LARP's - saw one very tall goth at a LARPer's party - he really looked the part like he might actually sleep in a coffin - he ruined his own darkness image though dancing to Dancing Queen and the YMCA which just looked weird and funny

I've had and loved having cats before. It wont be...the same, but I can love a cat, and I will be happier if there are some critters with me

Have you read Abby Greenhill's post (I think it was hers) about Donald Trump's library burning down? Both books were destroyed and the second one he had finished colouring in. That's the funniest thing I've heard today.
