~Update On Ebay Purchase~

So, I took all of your advice about the DVD I purchased for Julian on Ebay. I contacted the seller to ask them for a tracking number. I was surprised by the result of that. They didn't send a tracking number, they didn't message me back-nothing. Last night Ebay sent me an email saying it has been refunded. I won't ever purchase from those people again and I have to say I'm disappointed in how they handled it... That's not what I actually wanted, I wanted the DVD but oh well. I bought another one from someone else and I should be getting it by March 2nd at the latest. Hopefully everything will go well this time!

Sorry to hear that. I don't know why people like that sell on ebay. It has happened to me before. I am glad you were able to get another one. I hope everything goes good with that.

@Happy2BeMe That's good that you got your money back too. I don't understand sellers that don't communicate at all. I'm super laid back and I would have understood almost anything if they contacted me.

@LovingMyBabies The time it happened to me I never heard back from her and I message her a number of times. Paypal got my money back for me after they investigated it.

Wow what is it with people and selling things and trying to rip people off. Glad I don't order from ebay I will stick with amazon they are more trust worthy and at least you know you will get your item when you order it and you get notified when shipped and you can keep track of where it is at at all times.

@LovingMyBabies Right. I thought at one time they did take pay pal because I remember hearing talk of people linking their pay pal to amazon account.!

@Tina30219 Yeah I don't get it either but glad I at least got my money back. I wish I could order from Amazon but they don't accept Paypal so I can't.

I am glad you find another seller. God bless. Sometimes you will encounter people like that but let us hope that they will learn how to do business in the right respectable way.

I had the same thing to happen, I bought a home tomato sauce maker and they never shipped, and it was around $50. I contracted Ebay and they refunded my money. I really needed it at that time. I have not bought another but I think I will do Amazon, you know they have dealers there too with used stuff.

@andriaperry Yeah, I would love to shop on Amazon but they don't accept Paypal. I don't have any cards to use so I can't buy from there.

I have gotten other reports that this is the way Amazon and Ebay both are doing. Now it isn't them but the people they let sell on their sites. I think you should lodge a formal complaint with Ebay. I don't anything will be done to rectify this unless complaints are made to the correct department. They probably just figure that people won't take the time to do this. I hope you will. No change will take place unless people do let them know they are unhappy and that this has happened. Hope everything goes well on your second purchase.

Most of them do not send tracking number unless they pay for it.When the seller sell you something.Ask lots of question. tracking is one of them.They will put this on your shipping charges.Some do and some do not.I do not I always have tracking .

Sorry to hear about that. One the good side at least you got your money. Some sellers regardless of where you go through you have to be careful of. I hope you get the DVD that your wanting.

How annoying! It seems that the seller never bothered sending the item out... I'd totally leave honest feedback about that and the fact that they couldn't even bother to communicate with you about the item. That's a great way to tank your reputation as a seller on a site like eBay...

I am happy to hear that you will get a refund. I hope that the people who sold it to you will be reprimanded for their lack of communication with you. Not fair to the buyer to keep you in limbo. Hopefully the new DVD you ordered will be delivered by the expected date.

Why do you need a DVD for a one year old? Particularly if you have no money. My children did not need to television to provide their entertainment. When I babysat we had activities. We used construction paper, homemade play dough, scissors, old magazines, empty boxes and the toddlers favourite, was the Avon catalogue.
