Last night, the 3 of us (I, my sister, and my son) decided to deworm the 4 puppies so we had to take their weights first. Rio, London, Jordan, and Paris are more than 2 months young now, and they eat some bits of bread and drink the milk I prepare for them every morning, noon, and evening aside from the milk they take from their mother Macy. After dinner, I asked the weighing scale of my sister and hung my worn-out tee shirt; the shirt weighed 200 grams. One by one, I weighed the 4 puppies while my son was holding up the scale. The 4 puppies were quiet during the weigh-in, so I took their pictures and posted them on Face Book. My brother who left for UK last Monday commented that he misses the 4 puppies. This morning, before I drove the car to the repair shop, I gave the 4 puppies with 1 cc of Albendazole, an anthelmintic. Except Paris who weighs 1.1kg, the rest weigh 1 kg each. A kilogram is equivalent to 1 cc of the suspension. We expect the intestinal worms to be out tomorrow. Do you deworm your pets too?

No Ate.. But when we feed them sardines, we see that there are worms in their poop. LOL What's their milk Ate? And their vitamins? Hmmmm I am planning to give our little Buma kitten some vitamins for kitties. Hihihi

the veterinarian here in my city suggested Nido, so i make them milk with a quarter of a teaspoon of Nido and 1 and 1/2 cup of Nissin's cup noodles in lukewarm water. the puppies slurp so hungrily when i give them the bowl of milk. no, we don't give vitamins yet. they have just been dewormed.

Yes, that is very important it's good not only to pets but members of your family as well since some parasites are zoonotic

but a pet, even is staying inside the house, can still have intestinal worms. i hope your pets are free from these parasites, my friend

Deworm is necessary for cows calf. Other wise there may be a decrease in its health.

yes, i believe all domesticated animals should be dewormed, anyway it is for their own good and the owners' safety as well.

At first I thought you put your puppy in a baby sling. When my dog was still alive, we sent her to the pet clinic for deworm every year, if I am not mistaken. The last weight that I remember she had was over 25kg, so she definitely couldn't be fit in the t-shirt. Hope your puppies are all well.

if your dog was over 25 kgs, then she might have been a big dog. i wonder, why is she gone now? did she die of old age?

deworming is necessary so the dogs will not get sick and have fine hair/fur. besides, they should be healthy especially if they stay indoors. i also think those dogs that lick their owners' lips are dewormed as well

Oh that doggie looks so cute and pitiful. He seem to like it. I didn't know that's how to weigh the dogs.

when my sister did not have that weighing scale (that is for babies), my son would hold the dog and take his weight with the dog then subtract his weight from their weights with the dog. the weighing scale is analog and regular

I haven't done that in a while but I have dewormed my dog before. But I think next month I will just have him given some free anti rabies shots.

every summer time, the government gives free rabies vaccine to the dogs, most especially the stray dogs and cats. deworming has schedule and yesterday was the first of 3.
