Good Thursday morning..we surrounded by ice fog this morning

It sure is slippery out there. We are experiencing what is known as ice fog. Ice fog is fog that is made up of fine ice crystals that are suspended in the air. As a result there is lots of black ice on the roads and sidewalks. It hard to see it and most times you don't until you hit it. It was tricky both walking and driving this morning. Lots of fender benders. The fog over night really ate up a lot of our snow. 
Once the fog lifts it is suppose to be a beautiful sunny day.
Hope Thursday treats you all well. The weekend is almost here!

It can if someone did not properly secure their roofs or umbrellas or lawn furniture @Happy2BeMe I don't have much of those things and tend to keep them in a protected circular area closer to the home, at least it prevents my stuff from blowing into the neighbors yard.

@rebelann I suppose if you live there you know what to do to prevent damage. Do they just kind of come out of nowhere or do you have warning before they hit?

Sandstorms sound scary. Do they do much damage when things get whipping around?

Here too, we have had some fog and a few accidents. We will have some rain later and for the next couple of days. At least, we won't have to shovel it.
