Presumed dead, Karnataka teen wakes up before funeral

A 17 year old man who was bitten by a dog had high fever and was in hospital for nearly a month. He was kept under ventilator support. Since his family could not support expenses ventilator support was removed and he was taken back home. Since there were no movements he was considered dead and funeral arrangements were made. As he was being taken to the funeral ground he opened his eyes. He was admitted in hospital for treatment.
THIS incident happened in KARNATAKA STATE, INDIA.
The family of a teenager were shocked to see their son, presumed dead, wake up en route the cemetery in Hubballi of Karnataka.

So they do they not embalm the bodies there? They are just buried like that. I am so glad that he woke up.
