Hidden Figures is an Amazing Movie

I have to admit, we seldom go to the movies. We did, however, go to see Hidden Figures and I loved this movie so much I could see it multiple times. I am not a feminist but this movie is the most empowering movie for women that I have ever seen.
If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you go ASAP, you won't be disappointed. My hubs liked it just as much as I did

I agree but this is one movie that justified the excessive cost, at least in my opinion.

@BelleStarr I am an avid fan of animated films, but waited until Shrek and Finding Nemo etcetera had been out for a while. Then I could buy the DVD cheap from second hand DVD stores.

@LoriAMoore I do not mind it being loud, as long as there are no rowdy people to disturb the film.

That is exactly how I felt, I think I will have to wait since it cost us about $20 to see it the first time.

@DianneN It is well worth seeing, I found it so disturbing but empowering. I remember how it was back then but of course I never had the black experience.

@BelleStarr - I was really disappointed that "Hidden Figures" didn't win an Academy Award, but I still plan to see the movie soon.

I think it is something every student needs to see. It was the time when segregation was very much a part of life even at NASA.

It is such a good movie, no violence or swearing and while it is a serious subject the women overcame everything to succeed.
