They’re Coming To Take Me Away

This is the title of a delightfully funny novelty song by Napoleon XIV. Considering the fact that the song tells the tale of someone who is losing it I could say that perhaps even the original Napoleon could have sung it because he always had troubles. Anyway the reason I am losing it is that yesterday the weather people got everyone riled up about a snowstorm. The snow started and fell all night. In the early morning round about 5AM Sid decided he wanted his breakfast. So I fed the cat and fell back into bed. I got up several hours later ready to face the piles of snow outside. Instead of finding winter a light rain was falling and the snow was quickly melting. Soon by late afternoon the sun came out and it looked like spring again except for some spots of unmelted snow. With all to this mass confusion going on my head was spinning and I felt out of it. So I got into bed and slept some more. Now I have no idea if winter is going and spring coming or spring is going and winter is coming. So I guess they’ll just have to bring out the straightjackets. What kind of things make you positively crazy?

Ha ha well I think the weather being crazy has many of us feeling the same way. It was 61 here today and by Sunday it will be in the 30s again. I took advantage of the nice weather while I could today. I love that song by the way! It is really quite humorous!
