I miss the Canada Geese

I was raised in Toronto, Canada and I moved to Europe about 3 years ago. What I really miss is the Canada Geese...I know...it's strange but these birds are fascinating. We live by Lake Ontario and it is an area full of geese, especially the Canada Geese.
They are very cute but also quite intelligent birds. I used to feed them occasionally. On one occasion I even got chased by an angry goose because I think I got too close.

@tzwrites oh. maybe she was intimidated when you came close to her nest and that was her natural instinct to run after you.

They are considered nuisance birds here. They make a lot of noise, chase people, and worse, poop in sports fields where children play. Btw, my husband and I vacationed in Toronto. It had great hotels, restaurants, shopping, and live theater. I also stuck my toes into Lake Ontario.

They are beautiful birds. I love when they all gather together and you will see 30+ of them in a field somewhere. It is fascinating to watch them take flight and very loud too. lol

You've probably forgotten about the sidewalks that were slippery with goose poop. I like to see Canada geese, but they make an awful mess.
