1.5 was the best version. Unfortunately Steam has done CS no favours.

ya that's very true steam version has not done any good to tha game

I do play CS 1.6. Till now I play about 4/5 years. I also have played 1.5. So I do prefer cs 1.5 / 1.6 more then CS:Source
