My glutes are sore

That is a fancy way of saying my butt hurts. We did alternating split squats and step ups on boxes on Thursday during the workout. The soreness started on Friday but has hit its maximum today, the dreaded "two days later". Ow. Ow. Ow. If I had any extra money in my fun money bank account, I'd get a massage. Since I don't, that isn't an option. I guess tomorrow I will soak in the tub with my Dr. Teal's post-workout bath salts and then try to convince my husband to rub my aching muscles. We shall see on that one.

I'm feeling DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness) as well after our boot camp yesterday. We did five exercises yesterday - jab-straight combo, sprawls, sit-outs, kimura sit-ups, and wrestling lunges. Five rounds, five minutes each round with a minute rest in between. Our coach just gave instructions on what exercises to do and in what order so each round is different. The finishers were squat holds and planks.

I have an old boyfriend who gives great massages. He's a really good guy and has told me that if I want a massage, he'll be happy to give me one. I haven't yet taken him up on that offer, but due to the knowledge he gave me during our relationship, I pretty much know how to tend to my own sore muscles. Massage not included.
