Strawberries all over the floor .....

We got a great deal on strawberries today. So we decided we would have strawberry shortcake this evening. We cut up one package of strawberries and added some sugar and put them in the fridge for later. My fiance decided to take them out of the fridge and give them a stir. Well he ended up dropping the bowl and all the strawberries ended up on the floor. Luckily we have more but we will wait until tomorrow to try again. lol

Oh no... At least if you have more, that is good. As expensive as Strawberries are around here this time of yr, this would not be something good.

No luckily I got a good deal on them so it wasn't such a great loss as it could have been had a paid full price.

Mishaps in the kitchen, sometimes that does happens. Ah well. Since strawberries are really expensive here, I would eat them just like that.

I hate when that happens. You pull out something really good from the fridge and then it drops. Oh, well as you say there are more.

The strawberries are still expensive fruits here. Therefore usually I will just eat them directly

Sounds like something that I did today. I was putting away a plastic package of soup, when I dropped it. When I put it on the refrigerator shelf, I saw that it was leaking, and sure enough, when I'd dropped it it broke a hole in the container...

Uh OH! I guess that was a disappointment! Costco usually sells big flats of strawberries and they are reasonably priced but they don't usually come out until April or late March.
