Well, got a chance to grab some decent photos of The Great White Hope having breakfast this morning. I took about 18 total, but of course if I used all they'd almost be too small to see. I shot these from inside the house looking through the front window to the Squirrel Tree about 15 feet away.

Nope, wish I had one though, this is just a Canon PowerShot

@JolietJake Yeah, but it's one of the nicer PowerShots. I have a couple of DSLR's and my Panasonic Lumix is still my go-to for quick shooting on the go. DSLR's are nice, but they're not necessarily the best camera out there anymore. Hell, take a look at the stuff I've posted on my Facebook account... aside from those couple photos of what that monster lens I bought can do on my D90, everything else was shot either with my smartphone or the Lumix.

@owlandbutterfly I've got a DSLR that was my Mom's, but something is wrong with the electronics in it...someday I'll send it in to see if it can be repaired.

@JolietJake That is amazing. I've had grey, brown and black ones but never a white one. I guess I need to move to Illinois. No, wait, I can't stand cold, wet, snowy winters. Never mind.

I'm still losing a bit of definition shooting through the window and then shrinking the photos this far, but I am liking the camera

You're really enjoying that new Canon, aren't you? And TGWH is loving his breakfast, of course! Are you pressing the lens up against the window glass when you shoot these? If you do that, it'll cut out most (if not all) of the glare from the glass.

It's a large picture window so I am standing back a bit not to spook anyone out there feeding

great pics..I saw an albino squirrel once, but it was years ago. There is supposedly an albino deer in this area. Roomie once came upon an entire herd of albino deer..now that must have been a sight to see!
